History

LOHMEIER AG (The Company) was established by Mr Georg Lohmeier, a successful entrepreneur of the German “Mittelstand” who has a 30 year professional experience in developing and manufacturing medical devices and selling those to international customers. Due to his excellence he and his former company Lohmeier Medizintechnik GmbH have built up long lasting business relationships to big customers. With Siemens he had a cooperation in the segments Monitoring, Defibrillation and micro wave therapy. From the cooperation with B. Braun Melsungen AG he granted competences in the segments fluid management, biopsie and external pacing. After selling his company Lohmeier Medizintechnik GmbH successfully to a strategic investor he incorporated G. Lohmeier GmbH.

In the beginning of 2006 this company had the opportunity to acquire rights and patents of the ventilators “MythoVent” and “MythoVent2”. The development of both products is finished and the serial production has started shortly thereafter.

Research & Development

The company has built up strong technological skills and employs a team of young and high-qualified computer scientists and engineers specialised in the development of medical products. The company’s R&D approach is to be a member of the group of technical leading companies. This approach enables the company to use always the “state of the art” technologies in construction, electronic-design and the Software-development. The results are competitive “state of the art” products with an excellent level of quality.

Assembly

The assembly unit is located in Munich and very closed to the development and Sales Departments. Assembly and quality control are accomplished with modern equipment in modern facilities. Lohmeier has his own test facilities i.e to perform long term warmth tests.
